9thIWCSPP

Your work will be submitted as poster or oral presentation following two different formats as ABSTRACT first and as CONFERENCE PAPER after the acceptance of your Abstract.

1 - Initially the author (s) should submit the ABSTRACT , following the Guidance for ABSTRACT listed at www.embrapa.br/9thIWCSPP, indicating one of the 10 scientific and technical sessions to fit your work, as described below. After analyzed and approved by the organizing committee, the author(s) will receive an electronically acceptance letter saying the allocation as poster or oral presentation. The oral presentation can be done in English or Portuguese, because will be simultaneous translation (English to Portuguese and vice-versa) in all conference sessions. The deadline for submission the ABSTRACT is 31/05/2006 . After that the organizing committee will not accept any submissions.

2 - Just after the acceptance letter the author(s) will be eligible to submit the CONFERENCE PAPER linked to the approved ABSTRACT. The CONFERENCE PAPER should be submitted following the Guidance for CONFERENCE PAPER described at www.embrapa.br/9thIWCSPP, up to 31/07/2006 which is the deadline. After that the organizing committee will not accept any submissions.

3 - ABSTRACTS and CONFERENCE PAPERS should be written and submitted only in English language. Different languages will be not acceptable.

4 - Only CONFERENCE PAPERS will be publish in the PROCEEDINGS of 9th International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection - 9thIWCSPP, to be delivered at the beginning of the Conference to delegates. The PROCEEDINGS containing the conference papers and keynotes will be published in hard copy and a CDROM as well. Each delegate will receive a hard copy and a CDROM.

Scientific and Technical Sessions:
Your ABSTRACT/CONFERENCE PAPER should be fitted in one of the following sessions.

1. Stored Grain Losses
2. Microorganisms, Mycotoxins, and Other Biological Contaminants
3. New Chemicals and Food Residues
4. Pest Resistance to Pesticides and Control Measures
5. Biology, Behavior, and Pest Detection on Stored Grain
6. Fumigation and Control Atmospheres
7. Alternative Methods to Chemical Control
8. Quality in Grain Drying
9. Psocids, Mites, and Other Contaminants
10. General Session on Stored Grain Protection

Os trabalhos a serem submetidos para apresentação na forma de pôster e/ou na forma oral, terão duas formas de submissão: ABSTRACT (RESUMO) e TRABALHO COMPLETO.

1 - Inicialmente o(s) autor(es) deverão submeter o ABSTRACT (RESUMO) de acordo com as Normas para ABSTRACT (RESUMO) especificadas abaixo, indicando uma das 10 áreas técnicas do assunto, conforme menu de opções. Após analisado pela comissão técnico-científica, o autor principal receberá correspondência confirmando o aceite de seu trabalho a ser apresentado na forma de pôster e/ou na forma oral. A apresentação oral do trabalho poderá ser feita tanto em inglês, como em português, pois haverá tradução simultânea (inglês/português e vice-versa) em todas as sessões da conferência. A data limite para submeter o ABSTRACT (RESUMO) é 31/05/2006. Após esta data não serão mais aceitos qualquer submissão de ABSTRACT.

2 - Após o recebimento da correspondência de aceite de seu trabalho, o(s) autor(es) deverão submeter eletronicamente o TRABALHO COMPLETO, de acordo com as Normas para TRABALHO COMPLETO especificadas abaixo, até a data limite de 31/07/2006 . Após esta data não será mais aceita a submissão dos trabalhos.

3 - Tanto o ABSTRACT (RESUMO), quanto o TRABALHO COMPLETO deverá ser redigido e submetido exclusivamente no idioma inglês. Não serão aceitos trabalhos em outros idiomas.

4 - Somente os TRABALHOS COMPLETOS serão publicados nos PROCEEDINGS da 9th International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection - 9thIWCSPP, a ser entregue no início do evento, juntamente com o material da inscrição.

Os trabalhos a serem submetidos deverão indicar uma das 10 áreas técnicas abaixo, a qual melhor se enquadram.

4. Resistência de Pragas a Pesticidas e Estratégias de Controle
5. Biologia, Comportamento e Detecção de Pragas de Produtos Armazenados
6. Fumigação e Atmosfera Controlada
7. Métodos Alternativos ao Controle Químico
8. Secagem na Qualidade de Grãos
9. Contaminantes por Psocópteros, Ácaros e Outros Agentes
10. Proteção de Produtos Armazenados / Outras
